Tiny backyards in Brooklyn “need” low impact build-outs – dirt is pricey.  Backyards in Brooklyn are subject to multiple angles of viewing repose – thus whatever gets built has to look good from all sides.  This construction was based on full sized templates drawn up for each and every component.  Three separate construction entities walked their products (wood, steel and concrete) through the brownstone to the land-locked backyard and assembled them (numbered bit by numbered bit) to create the project seen here.
